Vision Statement:

Running with the natural exuberant wonder
of a child towards nature,
we nurture imagination, inquisitiveness, confidence, creativity, and a connection to, gratitude for and understanding of
the world around them.

This will become a solid place
within each child
that they can continually return to
for growth, values, compassion, wisdom
and joy in their lives.

By fostering a love of nature,
practices of stewardship
and sustainable living
will eventually be driven by the children.

Owner/Director, Bev Buswell, has been involved in
educating kids in different settings for 40 years.
Beginning as a teenager volunteering for the National
and local Park Services, leading high adventure
scouting groups for 15 years, and teaching gardening
and environmental education at public schools, her
focus has usually been in sharing nature with children.
Bev has also taught in Montessori and Waldorf preschools,
as well as public schools. She holds a bachelor's degree
in Environmental Education and has extensive formal
training in nature connection and nature education.
